The project aims to create an experimental setup combining some of the most advanced technologies in modern physics: ultra-precise lasers, optical cavities and extremely cold environments. Together, these tools will allow molecules to be studied with greater precision than ever before.
By carefully combining these techniques, the team will push the limits of precision in measurements of the structure of the simplest molecules, with the goal of testing quantum theory at an unprecedented level.
